uh oh, uh oh, uh oh, oh no no
I just got off stage from our first Off-Broadway preview and performance of The In Between.
I’m quickly posting this before my dressing room is bombarded with the likes of Quinn and my fathers and my friends and more than likely cast mates.
This is the recording I tried to talk Carl into giving me weeks ago of the final song of the musical, which I’m fortunate enough to sing. Please enjoy while I go off and enjoy the rest of this spectacular night.

Alabama Shakes “Hold On”
you and me between the sheets
it just doesn’t get better than this
the many windswept yellow stickies of my mind
are the molten emotional front line
I couldn’t care less I’m transfixed in this absolute bliss
sweet sleepless, tumbling night
oh, and the morning on the your skin and loved up light
tracing patterns in the maze of your back
softly, softly the goose bumps like that
and then a kiss…
maybe another,
and another one
